COVID CLINIC @ MISSISSAUGA MEDICAL ARTS

  • NO WALK-INS ALLOWED!  APPOINTMENT ONLY!  WE ARE NOT A WALK-IN CLINIC.  
  • PLEASE NOTE: ANY PHYSICIAN or PHARMACIST CAN PRESCRIBE PAXLOVID NOW.

  • This clinic is to support people with COVID DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT. A team of health care providers will offer timely in-person care that may include self-care advice, a COVID-19 test (as needed), or prescriptions. Same or next day appointments will be provided, when available.

When to Visit

You should book a clinical assessment at the COVID Clinic @ Mississauga Medical Arts if you know you have COVID-19 OR YOU HAVE A REFERRAL by your primary care provider or other health care professional;or do not have a primary care provider or
  • are at risk of severe illness, including:
    • immunocompromised individuals
    • individuals over age 70
    • individuals over age 60 with 2 or less covid shots
    • pregnant individuals with no covid shots
    • individuals over age 18 with 2 or less covid shots and one or more risk factors (listed below):
      •  
      • – obesity
      • – diabetes
      • – heart disease, hypertension or congestive heart failure
      • – chronic respiratory disease (including cystic fibrosis)
      • – cerebral palsy
      • – intellectual and developmental disabilities
      • – sickle cell disease
      • – moderate or severe kidney disease
      • – moderate or severe liver disease
      The individual is assessed as being at higher risk of severe COVID-19 based
      on their age, vaccination status, and risk conditions (excluding risks due to
      travel) by their prescriber.

You should your medications with you and a list of any important medical conditions to your
appointment for a clinical assessment.

If you have one or more of the following symptoms, you should immediately call 911 or go to the emergency department:

– Severe difficulty breathing (struggling for each breath, can only speak in single words)

– Severe chest pain (constant tightness or crushing sensation)
– Feeling confused or unsure of where you are
– Losing consciousness

Sat/Sun 9 am – 5 pm
